On the 4th – 10th of August Jamie Lee will be walking from Bridlington to The Empowerment base and the home of The Den in Blackpool. Jamie will be doing about 150 miles and will complete it in 7 days.

Many children and young people feel isolated and alone when experiencing domestic abuse. Jamie wanted to do this walk mainly on her own with only few people dropping in for support along they way. Every child should feel heard and supported and she wants to take on this challenge to help make this happen.

The Den offers specialist emotional and practical support to children and young people affected by domestic abuse in Blackpool.

The Den is really underfunded. Jamie want to show my support for this amazing charity so that they can continue with this much needed service and reach as many children and young people as they can.

In the last ten years The Den has supported over a 1,000 children and young people. Jamie would love to see this service support 1000’s more!!

We will keep you all updated on Jamie’s adventure on Instagram.  Please please please give as much as you can and please feel free to share this far and wide to help me achieve my target.
