Empowerment is delighted to let everyone know that we have received some amazing news from the Tudor Trust. They have just informed us that they have granted us an incredible £70,000 towards the work of ‘The Den’ over the next two years. This means we can continue to provide life changing support for children and young people who have been affected by domestic abuse in Blackpool.
The news couldn’t be more timely, as we know that there are so many children and young people not being able to access appropriate support during and after experiencing domestic abuse. We also know that children and young people being subject to Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), that this can massively impact on them for the rest of their lives, if they do not receive the right help and support at the right time.
